Two Shall be as One ...

Dearly beloved, we gather this day

To join this woman and this man

Drawn together by the hand of God

All according to His plan

Two shall be as one

By the power of God’s Son

Jesus bind their hearts together in this place

Fill their lives with Your glory and grace

May the steps they take be guided by Your word

As Your love they share

Lord, hear our prayer.

Spirit of God, descend upon them now

Anoint the pledge they’ve made this holy day

Release the strength of God for the road ahead

In Jesus’ name we pray
