Let the Children Come ...

We are given a high and holy calling

As His children are trusted to our care

For just a few short years, through joy and through tears,

Their journey we are called to share

With their eyes and their ears wide open,

They look to us to show them the way

In every word we say - and how we live each day

May Jesus be the One Who’s on display

We’re training the leaders of tomorrow

We are teaching them Your Holy ways, O Lord

We are sowing the seeds of the next generation

Grounding their future in Your Word

Come Lord Jesus, shine Your light upon our path

As we take Your children by the hand

May You be exalted in all they say and do

As Your presence fills this “Great Southland’

At times we are so battle-weary

The enemy will fight us all the way

But as we lean on You, Your grace will see us through

As we teach and guide Your children every day.

Let the children come to Me

For My Kingdom is for such as these

Let the children come to Me

And I will set them free
